Safety Manager

Job Summary: The Safety Manager plays a critical role in providing safety and risk management consulting services. The safety professional ensures adherence to safety regulations, and implements preventative measures to mitigate risks on various job sites. This job description covers the essential responsibilities, qualifications, and skills required to succeed in this key position. Safety Professionals play an essential part in promoting a culture of safety, conducting audits, training staff, and responding to incidents with expertise for GovServe Solutions. 


 Responsibilities : 

• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify deficiencies and hazards.

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.

• Provide safety training and education to employees.

• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine their causes.

• Recommend corrective actions to prevent future incidents.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.

• Maintain records and documentation related to safety activities.

• Evaluate equipment and processes to ensure safety standards are met.

• Prepare and present safety reports to management.

• Monitor and enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Develop safety committee meetings and initiatives


Education And Experience :

• 5+ years of experience in a safety-related role.

• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with safety management systems.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• OSHA 30

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Proficient in conducting safety training sessions.

• Knowledge of safety inspection and auditing techniques.

• Physical ability to perform inspections in various environments.

• Understanding of first aid and emergency response procedures.

• Good organizational and time management skills. 


Pay Details:


The base compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000. This range reflects GovServe Solutions's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.


Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
